From Recommendation to Project Entry: Phase Update on the Multilingual AI Internship Program

Recently, the recruitment process for the Multilingual AI Part-time Internship Program has successfully completed a phase of selection.

In this round, a total of 27 applications were received, covering 11 languages, including Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, French, German, Portuguese, Thai, Arabic, Malay, and Indonesian.

After screening and interviews conducted by the project team, 9 candidates have been officially accepted and are currently working steadily on real AI projects. The languages currently involved in active projects include Spanish, Vietnamese, Russian, German, French, and Portuguese.

Participating interns generally report that this is not a “procedural” internship, but an opportunity to directly engage in frontline AI project work. During the internship, project arrangements are well-structured, and tasks are closely aligned with each intern’s language expertise. Interns are able to gain hands-on experience in AI data annotation, validation, and related tasks, which provides valuable insight into the data workflows behind large-scale model training.

At present, the project continues to progress steadily, and a new round of recruitment for multilingual interns is now open. The current demand includes Portuguese, Malay, and Turkish.

For the Turkish language track, applicants who can work at least 3 hours per day with flexible scheduling are welcome, with specific arrangements subject to project needs.
